The Committee on the Matters of Pensioners, Veterans and the Disabled recommends that the Parliament adopts as a Basis the Bill on Discharge of Arrears of Enterprises of Strategic Importance and Coal-Mining Enterprises to the Pension Fund of Ukraine, and Restoration of Pension Rights of their Employees

Pursuant to the Bill (Reg. No.4218), the enterprises of strategic importance and coal-mining enterprises can spread the arrears to the Pension Fund of Ukraine over the period till 60 calendar months. Moreover, partial forgiveness of a total sum of a debt is possible in case of an advanced repayment of spread sums by an insurer.

According to the Committee members, the principles and mechanisms of functioning of the compulsory State retirement insurance system are determined by the Law "On Compulsory State Retirement Insurance".
